Where is the chessboard in butcherblock
You can open chests while you have agro but you wont be able to loot. Remember that if you die you will simply apear right back on the dock where you started, and you wont loose any xp by dying.
Have fun Gelinu Ellersenere lvl 66 shaman the forbitten attributes saryrn Edited, Wed Oct 12 Unrest Instanced task missions. Today, while I was hunting some dwarfs at the dock with my dru, I found some strange corpses. The most strange thing about them was, when you consider the corpses, you can see the msg telling you the resurrection time! Burning with curiosity, I tried to rez them with my cleric but nothing happened. Those corpses contain Nodrop bandit sashes, but you can never loot them.
I'm dying with curiosity, someone plz tell me, what are they for??? RE: strange corpses. These MOBs are for a Task in Kaladim, regarding purging the mountains of a treacherous band of bandits. Today, whiel in BB, I noticed a boat I had never seen before. It was docked out side of the docks a little way I tried to enter the boat, but to of no avail, looks like it would be easy to accsess with levitation. Edited, Sat Jan 10 Just saw that, I got on it. I got on with levitate, nothing there.
The boat does nothing and is very ornate, kind of like the shuttle textures though it is a large boat with a sail. I thought maybe it came with gates of discord, for some reason? RE: Just saw that, I got on it. There's a sailor standing next to the boat, who is looking for a group of volunteers to sail the boat.
The goal is to make an attack on Freeport. Hera ya go Tauntt. Wakening Land Crest of the Wood Nymphs This item found by foraging. Found in: Butcherblock Mountains.
LDoN Warning. I'll catch hell for this. I mean a ton of people. Those of us without the latest video cards are advised to turn left and skirt around them, else you'll find a good deal of lag anywhere from an annoyance to a show-stopper on the very minimum-req's. This is just like in the earlier days when the little tunnel between the Commonlands and the Desert in Antonica would always be packed.
There will also be constant trumpetting of "65 beast LFA", " group looking for pullers, buffers", or the like. That's simply an annoyance, however, not something that can burn up as much as a half an hour for the most unlucky souls. It'd be nice if people could at least move to the other side of that copse of trees. Out of sight is out of mind in the realm of video-card performance in this case.
You're right about the lag. It makes the bazaar seem like Nektulos, very smooth and close to lag free, in compairison. On A Ro. I have a question about the shuttles to FV. They get half way through the route to TD and then they zone back to BB.
Are all boats doing this on all servers? I wouldn't care if it weren't for the drachnids I prefer driders that are by the tunnels that lead to DL. Anyway, when, if ever, will the boats and shuttles be fixed to work properly again? RE: On A Ro. Hello Sarthane, I just returned from the Chicago Fan Faire, where I did get to ask them about the ships and the constant need for translocators.
I am sorry to say, they suggested " Use PoP". No help will be forth coming on ships I suppose :. They recently removed the translocator in Butcher Block, but did not fix the boats to Timorous Deep. Only 2 or the 4 boats will take you there. The other 2 will get stuck just before zoning into TD. Here is the definitive source for in game accurate everquest lore. Compiled by my friend Sir Banegrivm Shadowblight, who raised two armies and won the battle of Bloody Kithicor in Beta on two servers.
Why can't our chars see to the side or in back, they could easily set up keys for this if they wanted to, it would be a great help when sitting. Why do they say stats go up from exp? As soon as you lvl and med your meditate goes up five more points, then stays there until you go to next level. I think there a lot of changes they could make that would make play a lot more enjoyable. If exp is so important why don't you get exp by dying, if you do it enough you can get better at it. Why all the old fashioned "Gotchas", hitting a creature only to have another on the other side of the hill come and attack you also?
This is what you might call the "Irritation Factor". This is something companies put in games, because they think irritation is fun. Let's face it, they came up with a good idea, a world with continents, cities, etc. It's a game for enjoyment, why all the frustation, they don't have to make it easy, but they could make it better, I don't think they have a lot of imagination, or smarts or something. Either make it more realistic or don't make it realistic at all.
Why have things half way? Why make a game that forces you endure bullcrap and make you pay to buy it, then pay to endure it? Come on guys, get on the ball, we're paying you're salaries, make things better and more enjoyable.
RE: Irritation. All I have to say is Things have been made a great deal better over the years. Well, what to say to this rant. First of all, you are entitled to your opinion. Second, you are not alone in your opinion that the game could be made better. As a matter of fact, the developers are constantly trying to make the game better.
Thats what those patches are for. Thats why you have to pay monthly to play. Its to pay for improvements. Third, I agree that they dont have to make it easy. If it was then I wouldnt play. I would just load something like Starcraft or somesuch and play that. This game is hard, it is supposed to be, unless you take the shortcut and do things like twink or powerlevel, then hey thats your choice.
No one is "forced" to play this game. You go to a store, make a decision to buy the game, then make another decision to load it on your computer, then make another series of decisions loggin on and such, just to play.
Sooo, no one is force to play. Go buy something more your speed like a board game. It is easy to criticize, but its useless to do so, unless you have a solution to the problem. Remember though, you do have a right to your opinion, just as others have the same right to say your opinion is "Irritating". A Gobbies Nerf'ed. Heads up. There are also some high level aqua goblin camps along the shoreline, and a camp of enraged goblins off the path to the docks from town, also very high level relative to the rest of the zone.
B enefits Butcherblock is, by far, one of my favorite zones to start a character in. You could honestly never leave the zone, travelling within its confines until you reached 7th or 8th level, and you could adventure there even longer in a group. Eventually, the need for something elsewhere will drag you away, but I guarantee you'll be back. One of my babies in the beta was a dwarven cleric, and I miss travelling in this zone.
That said, now on to the reasoning behind my beliefs. First off, the zone is never that crowded. It is so spread out that it rarely becomes a nuisance that there are too many people around, and there are entire areas that you can hunt in with maybe one other person as the only other player you see all night long. You get experience quicker in this environment as well as wealth, and I was buddies will all of those other characters who hunted in my area, as I would often take a deep breath after a tough battle to turn around and find them there, watching me in case something went horribly wrong.
As I mentioned above, the zone itself can effectively be broken up into more zones within it, as guard houses keep monsters from entering other areas and the walls prevent much cross-wandering. This is good if you want to get away from the rush and hunt in your own area. It is also good because the designers took advantage of this and created areas within Butcherblock to suit someone of every level. Like I said probably too often above, you could live in this zone for the first 8 levels of your character, which is good for rogues, for instance, who have to keep going home to get a new skill.
