Where is leeroy jenkins dungeon

For the character from the Warcraft film universe , see Leeroy Jenkins film universe. This section concerns content related to Wrath of the Lich King. Leeroy was alive. Boss died. I did this not knowing that Leeroy needed to interact with it in order to finish the quest and it seemingly cost us the follower.
We completed the mission in time and even got the audio clip from Leeroy at the end, but he never went to loot the Beast. Hope this helps mitigate future mistakes! After the second boss, and before you click him, do not try to get a head start and walk into the next trash room, "Hall of Blackhand".
If you do, he will bug out and you will no longer be able to click him. Exiting the instance and returning does not work either. Comment by danthemon Just ran this with premade group of 5 manually entering dungeon. Once we were done with achievement requirements, we swapped out a toon that already had it for another guild member's fresh level They were awarded with the achievement and follower for stepping in prior to everyone being awarded it.
Comment by WCrispy Tried this randomly today. We left one group of mobs up in the corner of the room directly above the rookery, and they must have killed him. We were downing Beast at the time, and killed it, and ran back to see where Leeroy was. He was despawned, no corpse or anything. So stupid. Comment by coolguyry Alrighty. You'll only look stupid as hell and unfortunately at the time I did that, I didn't have chicken. The timer, as stated by previous commenters, is in fact 15 minutes.
But if you're sluggish and are in the last room when the timer expires, you should have a good minute and a half before Leeroy rushes headlong to his death - most likely at the hands of mini-Beast Which actually happened to my group the first time. Remember as the Pandaren say, "Slow down!
This achievement is more than easy enough to accomplish if you actually in fact have just one REALLY high dps in your group this one dps did 30k while the other two did around k and we accomplished it with around two to two and a half minutes to spare. Of course if your entire group consists of people that do 30k the achievement will be accomplished a lot faster due to how quickly the mobs will die.
Regarding the pull rate, as long as its consistent you should be fine, but the second room the one leading up to Tharbek and the rooms with the Groundshakers the ogres that do their frontal moving smash and AoE fear will be the hardest rooms; the former being hard due to the Dreadweavers and Summoners interrupts are important here!
Other than that the achievement is easily feasible for groups with a decent tank, heals, and a really high dps as stated. If you have a bloodlust in your group, I'd suggest using it for Tharbek just so he can be dropped down quicker adding more time to get to the Son of the Beast. TL;DR Version: Don't rush foolishly into everything , because you can't afford to especially if you want to do this sanely!
Getting the achievement though and getting Leeroy is quite a trip and is especially nostalgic for those who watched his infamous video as one of their first WoW videos that occurred before WoW machinima became ever more popular than now then it was back then. Overall it's an achievement truly out there for all of those dedicated enough to try and get him! Until then good luck guys and keep at it!
Additional note: I acquired Leeroy as a follower after deciding to help out someone in my dungeon finder group who whispered me about and I was more than happy to help him. Funnily enough, if karma were ever more obvious, his Leeroy came with Scavenger while mine came with two race follower traits and an environmental trait the other two traits his Leeroy had were a race follower trait and an environmental trait. At least his Leeroy, in addition to looking for resources, will also be looking for chicken it seems.
You don't need to be right next to him as he loots his shoulders. Just a heads up! We had done it successfully several times already, and we knew we had more than enough DPS to get it the normal way. So we went in, killed the first boss, then decided to all log off and make some dinner.
We had a delicious dinner, then logged back in to finish the run. Our party had disintegrated by being logged out too long, so we re-formed the party with the same people and flew to Blackrock Mountain to walk in through the front entrance. We killed the second boss, Kyrak, then resurrected Leeroy and continued on. This is where we discovered that the next hall, which is usually full of ogres, was completely empty.
We were able to go start the third boss immediately. Part of the trash after the third boss was also missing. We hypothesized that these trash packs were incorrectly linked to the first boss and had despawned. We managed to kill Son of the Beast with about ten minutes remaining on the chicken timer.
Part of which I used to write this comment. Comment by Protensis This is currently bugged in some cases. I ran into a issue where all trash was cleared, we killed Son of Beast with more than enough time on the clock and Leroy vanished. We never got credit for it and Blizzard is aware. Just giving a heads up here if you see any issues with this.
They are aware and researching what has happened with it. Comment by Jeolene I like how no one in any group at any time will help rez him for those of us that don't have him. Even after I said "hey, I think Jenkins is in this room, I don't have him", people just ignore it. Do some of us a favor and help us out, we aren't all in epic raiding guilds with thousands of friends to help with everything. Comment by Demonology At least I have chicken.
Comment by Fredderick Did this tonight on a new toon and we completed it so fast that we finished the instance before Leroy got his shoulders. Comment by Maelchav Hello all. I'm curious - is this achievement solo-able at this point in WoD? I was able to solo some normal-mode WoD dungeons with my protection paladin fairly early on, but haven't tried heroics solo yet. I haven't done heroic dungeons since I finished that part of the legendary-ring questline, and I haven't raided, but I have a lot of Baleful gear, some raid gear from missions, and a couple items from Kazzak, so my ilevel is in the mids.
If not solo-able, is it duo-able? I might be able to talk my hunter friend into giving it a shot. Maybe if done very carefully, but my damage output is a bit low for taking critical trash mobs out fast enough, and any accidental over-pulls would appear to be catastrophic.
EDIT, part 2: Dragged a hunter along with me, but we couldn't manage to down the first boss. Trash up to there wasn't a problem, but the boss is a roadblock. Gonna have to try my luck with LFD groups and hope someone else needs the follower, too.
Comment by notstrider Am I going crazy or did the voice acting change for this guy? I swear it sounded different during the early months of WoD. He seemed more jovial, now he sounds flat and boring.
I could be just losing it. Our Leeroy looted an empty room, and we got him. Comment by Darfuria Completed this yesterday without even knowing it existed. Resurrected Leeroy Cleared the dungeon before the chicken timer finished, making sure to not skin Son of the Beast Went back to Leeroy and waited for the chicken timer to finish Followed him through the dungeon. He looted his Devout Shoulders, and I got the achievement and unlocked him as a follower.
Comment by Zachen Not obtainable on Mythic difficulty like many other achievements, unfortunately. Comment by Beace I tried soloing this as a lvl warlock. I was hoping I'd be able to resurrect him with soulstone combat res , but sadly it doesn't work. Seems it has to be a proper res. If your class doesn't have a regular res, try to find someone that'll join you.
Got to be a traditional resurrection spell. Comment by jkoh i just did this and got leeroy jenkins as a follower, but did not get the achievement. Comment by killicious Edited to add this tl;dr - You can "solo" this on a character that cannot rez Leroy as long as you have another character that can. Use group finder to get both toons in the same group and alternate between them as needed Just soloed this with my Hunter.
After killing the 2nd boss, I could not rez Leroy, so I created a custom group, logged off, and got on my druid, joined the group, came in and rezzed Leroy, then logged off. Back onto my hunter and ran thru killing everything up to and including the Beast. Waited for the timer to run out - heard Leroy say "Alright Chums, I'm back Nothing, no achievement yet. So I thought maybe since I "cheated" and used another toon in my account to rez him, that made it not work.
So I was getting ready to read up on "bridge over troubled fire" when about a minute or 2 later I heard Leroy again He had finally found his way in, looted the beast and Ding! I got the achievement and the follower. Comment by Bearbear3 Solo'd this as ret pally today with about seconds left on the timer. Leeroy was able to loot the "corpse" even though it had disappeared while waiting. Comment by AldursApprentice For those who waited until Legion to do this achievement, here's something important to note.
I only ran this dungeon once during WoD, and that was early on. Never went again with a group to try for this achievement. Decided to get the Glory of the Draenor Hero achievement out of the way on my Druid. He filmed the video with a group of his friends in college for themselves, not thinking it would go anywhere. Soon after, Global Gaming League [4] got in touch with Schulz, inviting him to attend Blizzcon with them in He has also been interviewed about the video and its authenticity by local Denver news station Westword.
He ended up choosing to pursue his college education, becoming an electrical engineer, working towards getting professionally licensed. He stopped playing World of Warcraft after Frozen Throne, returning for a year after the release of Cataclysm before cancelling his account. He is still a gamer, noting he is an active user of Kongregate, founded by Ben Vincent who filmed the original Leeroy Jenkins video.
When asked about the authenticity of the video, he said that World of Warcraft commenters were harsh in their critique but once it was uploaded to YouTube, the commenters that were not serious gamers vehemently believed it was real. Schulz said he prefers letting the viewer decide for themselves. However, in December , the creators of the video admitted that it was staged and meant to be satirical [20].
Jenkins' video has been referenced in several mainstream media instances including a World of Warcraft-based Toyota Tacoma truck advertisement [12] , deleted scenes from movies Year One and Monsters Vs.
Aliens and a mention on television game show Jeopardy in November There is a TV Tropes [15] page on the character that chronicles his pop culture appearances.
